Welcome to a Tarangire Roika Tented Lodge a unique Flora and Fauna of shrubs land and acacia woodlands with hearty baobab trees strewn around. Welcome to the Birds Paradise of over 500 bird species. Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge has situated roughly 125km from Arusha town and is ideally accessible by Dodoma Road although it can also be reached by air since there is an airstrip just nearby in the Park.
The lodge lies nestled on the banks of the Tarangire River and is a mere 5km away from the main entrance to Tarangire National Park. The lodge is also within driving distance to Lake Manyara and the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

To encourage you to enjoy a light “digital detox” and enhance the level of relaxation you experience during your Geiger’s Camp visit, we only offer Wi-Fi connectivity in the lounge and dining areas.
We recommend not making use of your cell phone in the boma during seated dinners as this detracts from the experience and may be disturbing to other guests.
The climate in this area is tropical and rains fall during summer. The warmer months of the year roll in from October to March, whereas winter is from April to September. Generally speaking, daytime temperatures are pleasant, but mornings and evenings can be cool.
